Hemp Space Experiment

Space Tango, an aerospace company based in Lexington, Kentucky, announced today that it had formed a subsidiary company to experiment on the medical properties of hemp in space. Partnering with the hemp companies Atalo Holdings and Anavii Market, the company intends on having its scientists to conduct plant biology experiments on hemp aboard the International Space Station. Speaking with the Lexington Herald-Leader, Kris Kimel, the chairman and co-founder of Space Tango, said that his company is making a bet on CBD’s medical properties and there are “clearly some significant biomedical applications” to it.
